(And I don't mean to pick on Councilman Snyder because I think he's one of the more wise members of the council -- and this idea that "the problems are not our doing" has been expressed more or less by all the local politicians.)
But is this really true? Here are some graphs for you:
First, Millville, New Jersey:
Next, Cheyenne, Wyoming. Notice the similar graph:
And finally, Manteca, California:
Who says economic policy and the damage done by "planning departments" don't have a negative effect on people's lives? It's not "the outside forces" -- that's just an excuse. We are responsible for the world we create.

We are all still waiting for your proof of forged documents over at www.kristysayles.com. What happened to your proof, or are you just full of hot air. The election is coming up quick, if you had anything I am sure you would have posted by now. Do you think she married twice to her latest husband as the new documents show? Why would she do that? Would it be for tax reasons? The first one in Nevada was right before the new year...
ReplyDeleteDear anonymous leader:
ReplyDeleteIt's up to the one who makes the assertions to prove things.
It's very easy for those who want desperately to believe something demand that anyone who points out the flaws to provide "proof." No such "proof" is ever be possible to someone who is already certain of "the truth."
I hear the same kind of demands from people who believe they've been abducted by space aliens, or UFO's or that their divining rod works or that a miracle occurred or that the Easter Bunny exists.
Better yet, maybe Mayor Sayles is a space alien? If you're waiting for me to provide "proof" that Mayor Sayles isn't a space alien then you might as well just believe that. In fact, considering the reckless interpretations on that website I'm surprised they haven't asserted that yet. Maybe they just aren't creative enough. It's just as believable as some of the stuff you read there, and not as vicious.
You bring up a great example: The claim of "bigamy!" That is a prime example of reckless interpretation of partial facts. Whatever documents there are, however complete or incomplete they may be can't possibly be interpreted to support that outlandish charge.
They don't have a single informed opinion from a legal expert, there's no legal authority anywhere that accepts those claims of "bigamy" seriously. The anonymous internet character assassin has taken the liberty to act as investigator, prosecutor, judge, jury and executioner. And yet not a single person who went to law school agrees with his tortured interpretation.
I think it was the "Amazing Kreskin" who used to say "for the unbeliever, no proof is possible; for the believer no proof is necessary."
I was a fan of the "Amazing Kreskin Show".....
