Shame on the Manteca Bulletin for running another hit piece on Lathrop's Mayor Kristy Sayles on election day. Continuing her recent string of attacks on the mayor, assassin Rose Albano-Risso does a story on how happy the city's union (SEIU) workers are now that city manager Yvonne Quiring has been terminated. She even quotes chief ignorant villager Laura Thimler, girlfriend of the mayor's uncle and former mayor Steve McKee, giving her opinion of the firing as if that is somehow newsworthy or relevant. Thimler has made many vicious and defamatory attacks on Sayles on kristysayles.com stemming from a very personal feud.
The rest of the city council who were interviewed apparently have no control over what decisions are or were made in the past, blaming everything on Sayles. You'd think Lathrop was run by a dictator instead of a 5-person council. Not a one of them takes any blame for the the firing of the last two city managers in as many years, for the half million dollar sexual harrassment lawsuit settlement to former city clerk Nancy Rustigian or for the firing of Matt Browne. According to them, Sayles did it all herself. Amazing!
Who the heck is running things in Lathrop? Sounds like the developers and unions if you ask me. No matter how the election turns out today, Lathrop has a lot of healing to do if that is even possible.
One might also wonder who is running the Manteca Bulletin these days...Dennis Wyatt seems to have abdicated his position to Abano-Risso who has been letting her friendships with influential people color her judgment.

How ironic that the crass bumpkins of Manteca are somehow superior to the "ignorant villagers" of Lathrop. I was told abou this site and it's "insightful" commentary. What bunk - you folks have no idea what you are talking about. Rather than rehash the details, it's simple - vote Kristy Sayles out of office. Then block mantecalive.com from your computer...

She was given some choices of what to do and chose to take the money Kristy authored into her contract.....She wasnt evaluated and asked to be demoted until the proper training would commence for singing too loud in her church choir.....Her performance was not hitting the mark and some decisions she made were questionable. I dont care who you work for....some one ALWAYS evaluates our performance..... How can this EVER be characterized as an attack on Kristy?

Probably, not thinking in hindsight, it wasn’t a really good idea to attack a person on every front imaginable. I am so glad this is over, knowing all this hatred deserved or not was making me physically ill and was certainly depressing.
As to Manteca Live, none of the nasty contributors to this site (KristySayles.com) could even reach high enough to lick the boots of the owner’s of that site (MantecaLive.com). They are highly intelligent, honorable people, as opposed to the owner and contributors to this site (KristySayles.com). Jackie and Joe are fabulous people and any one that knows them is privileged.
Finally, my hope is that all the horrid people that had so many really terrible things to say against a fellow human being, and especially that person’s family, will GET WHAT THEY DESERVE!! (What ever that may be….)

The three, now two musketeers, Dresser, Dhaliwahl, and Oliver gave her no alternative other than to tell them what she would take to leave. Each of them decided to get rid of her when it was politically expedient. The idea the employees decide who the boss will be is tantamount to anarchy. Imagine Laura Thimler, an ex-employee deciding or attempting to decide who the City Manager is going to be. It was payback time to the Mayor from the "Gang of Three".
As to your explanation there was no beef with the Mayor, is so far off the mark you can't even see the target.
I admire the former City Manager for one reason, she had a backbone,character, a hard working personality, and would not bend to the wishes of your friends at TCN Properties, too bad Oliver, Dreser, and Dhaliwahl don't possess such virtue, of course you are in the same boat.
The bottom line is this, the voters saw through your vitrol, the BS, and your toilet swimming associates. The behavior of certain members of the Lathrop City Council, you and your friends at the toilet site are a disgrace to this community. Just keep in mind, your associate (J.D. Maurer)engages in civil racketeering, I'll bet rubbing shoulders with him ought to be considered an honor.
Maybe you will learn to not treat someone disrespectfully, who had treated you with kindness, generosity, and concern when you were down for the short term rewards of winning an election.

I am curious to know why Rose has written a "hit piece" when all she has done is report the truth, however Kristy inundates the city with fliers, paid for with illbegotten funds, that falsely name call and accuse people wrongfully and use pictures of folks without their permission and say they endorse her, when they do not - this is a good thing?
Lastly, have we met? I doubt it, but either way, although it's nice that you have once again given me a title, I would appreciate it if you would not mention my name as if you know a thing about me.

The only thing that gives me comedic relief from the devestating state of affairs in the city, is the fact that you actually believe your own b.s and think even for a minute that you weren't out the door the second you entered it. You know your husband's history. She should be about finished with you now and ready to move to number --whatever.
Quite frankly, I think the two of you deserve each other, but we are all tired of your childish tantrums, hotheaded tirades and pathetic as it may be, the fact that you think you and your opinions actually matter.

The SITE is now down. The Election is OVER. 6 out of 10 people did not want Kristy re-elected. PERIOD. In a four candidate race you face people spitting the vote. Proof is here. What if only Kristy v. Chaka? What would happen then? Good question, but not for today.

I have a sense that it won't be the only legal case against you and your illegal business though. Have you purchased your business license yet, or better yet, has your brother purchased a business license for his construction company transacting business in Lathrop? It would suck for him to go down with the tax authorities because of you, huh?

As for being duly licensed, I think you are ill informed or ignorant.
I am a licensed contractor in the state of California therefore I can build or take down all the fences I desire.
I have my friends and my enemies both are a necessity in this lifetime. As for doing business in Lathrop, I don't, as for others, I don't speak for them.

Rather than "attacking" someone as you say, I will forever be a child of the sixties with a lifelong dedication to fighting injustices. Whether it is someone hurting, in need, or being used, I cannot help myself. I find it necessary and my obligation as a human being to try to right the wrong.
