    A bit off the subject matter but just as germaine.
    The Lathrop City Council along with some staffers have decided to play the $900 toilet seat game so popular with the Federal government. Case in point, they have somehow concluded by divination that community gardens will cost $30,000 to $50,000 per garden. They have used the same analyst/accountant/soothsayer that figured it would cost $100,000 to get a bid for waste disposal for citizens in the city. Having experience with the existing community garden, the cost are somewhere around $2,000. Now I admit the labor was free but the gardners do thier own work, tilling is done by volunteers as is all other work. Where they came up with this figure is a mystery clouded in the internal machinations of local politics just as the waste management bid recently. Of course it helped when counsel for Allied Waste called Councilman Dhaliwahl and praised him for "orchestrating" the entire process. Whoever thought competition would reduce costs is not on the Lathrop City Council with one exception. As a businessman with experience, the deception of the public by providing false numbers, to the detriment of families who need a bit of help is a disgrace and brings dishonor to the elected leadership who voted down the proposal.

    Dear Mr. Sayles most here in Lathrop only want what's best for the people who live here. we did not want to carry the burden of only getting waste management in Lathrop only to help your wife have her bad debt in the sum of over 18,000 to her friend and campaign manager Don Parsons forgiven on the backs of Lathrop residents she in the one trying hard to pull the wool over the eyes of Lathrop citizens if I must tell the story here so everyone or at least the two or so who really do read this site know this is what really was going on with the
    Allied waste vs. waste management deal Mrs., Sayles made a deal with her campaign manager Don Parsons since he also works with waste management that if she could somehow convince other members of the council and public to bring in waste management that all the bad debt she owes her campaign manager Don Parson (18,000+) would then be wiped clean, but
    Mrs. Sayles never thought that the people of Lathrop were smart enough to figure out her plan but guess what some were it seems that the Sayles never give any thought or credit that the people of Lathrop are smarter than they ever thought they were. any way Mrs. Sayles only wanted to get waste management in Lathrop so she could get her personal bad debts forgiven on the backs of the rate and tax payers of Lathrop I for one am glad that we have watch dogs out there keeping guard of what money is spent,and keep putting the truth above all else how else would the avg. citizen know what takes place behind closed doors I was happy to see that Mrs. Sayles little self help plan failed and that the tax payers in Lathrop did not have to suffer because
    Mrs. Sayles plan failed Mrs. Sayles thought she was going to get her debt paid off and I do mean her (personal) bad debt I thought it was pretty entertaining that no matter how hard Mrs. Sayles tried to push this scheme through the other council members saw right through her little plan and showed that she no longer controls what this council decides to do with our money they can and have been out voting her time and time again kudos to them for standing up to bullies like the Sayles I can't wait till 2010 and hope we get a real mayor that really puts the people of Lathrop 1st. no more personal agendas. To Mrs. Saldecedo I bet it feels good to finally be free of all Kristy's calls telling you how to vote thanks for finally taking a stand and showing not only Kristy but the also the people of Lathrop that you can vote without her input. It's a council of five now not a council of Kristy we are now a democracy again not a dictatorship. Bravo Lathrop free at last free at last........... I can’t wait till 2010 Yes we can……………………….
    Also Can't wait to hear if Kristy does or did have any conection to the Lathrop Rush other than the one we all ready know about does she own part of the Rush does she work ther why did she write on the sheet that she represents the Rush? when was that last time anyone in Lathrop recieved a copy I haven't recieved one in months and months so why are we still paying 2,00.00 a mo? I think the city council meeting is now my number one reality show they should win an emmy................... Kristy can win for best villin and best actress for her role as confused mayor. If they ever cast a show similar to big brother but name it biggest liar we should all nominate her to be on the shows 1st season. Her husband can host a show about big bullies with little b----.

    Dear Anonymous,
    I have every reason to believe you write as if you are Rosalida Valencia. I have several editions of "Strunk and Whites" book on proper use of puncuation,sentence structure,language usage, etc.. I have to admit, during my time as a teacher I have rarely seen such poor writing skills as those of yours. Please don't embarrass yourself by using the English language in public places. And factually you are mistaken, misinformed, and just plain ignorant.

    I don't think this is on the subject here, but seeing the mayor of Lathrop's name inspired my always smouldering anger towards a group of inept people running/ruining our lives. I ride my bike around my area a lot and never fail to feel sadness when I see all the brown/dead lawns and withering trees and plants....then I receive my water bill; more than $100! (for two people in a small house). It reminded me of the mismanagement of tax payer dollars, no one can afford to keep the city green because of the high water rates so that they "leaders" can have more of our money to squander on $900 toilet seats. I'm not talking about the scores of abandoned home, just the homes where the owners/residents don't have the money to water, because the city took it! I think we should get rid of the whole lot of them and start over, things were so much better,(which isn't saying alot) 17 years ago when we moved here than they are now. We went to a council meeting and it was ridiculous, watchin these stupid leaders feeling so self important and so much better than the rest of us. Maybe they should hop on a bike and see what they in their infinite wisdom or lack there of has caused. It's very sad and depressing not to mention the loss of property value not because of the economy but because of the horrible conditions in the neighborhood where I live.

    Well since you were a teacher in the Woodbridge school district why don't you tell us why you are no longer a teacher???? Why was there an investigation against you and more importantly why are you no longer a teacher?? Something sounds fishy to me and don't say budget cuts we all know why... and for your info I am not
    Rosalinda Valencia how do you not know that am not someone from your past who knows all about you come on don't you recall me you should you hurt me more than you'll ever know how else would I know about Sara and Oceanside? Think really hard you can't just go through life hurting innocent people ant not expect the past to come back to haunt you in a way I'm sad that you could never figure out who I really am seeing how much you once loved me..........That's Ok those who love me now and stand by me know the truth about you Mr. MOM. How does it feel to be second-class to your wife's position? How does it feel to no longer be top dog in the family? How does that dress fit? I hope Kristy is happy wearing those pants.............
